On July the 28th 2002 (sunday) I let my ex-wife borrow my 90TT stg3. She always complained that she couldn't drive down the street without somebody trying to race her. She was never the racing type but she could not stand other cars cutting her off. At about 10:00 pm she was driving home with my only son (Luke) who was two months shy of being 5 years old and rolled the car. My son was ejected from the car and died on the scene from multiple head injuries. My life pretty much ended that night and I live with this unbearable pain every day. I cry for my son everyday and wakeup every morning knowing I am one day closer to being with him. I dont know too many details (I try to stay away from them) but I can tell all of you this. Alcohol was involved, some sort of racing (I believe), and my son didn't have his booster seat.
The other car that started this is under investigation. My point is that other car could have been any of us. I plead to you all don't forget this message, in Luke's memory. Don't drink and drive and think about Lukey next time you want to race on the street. Please take it to the track!Sorry this is so long, but I feel my little boy asked me to do this.
